Heh, I know your pain all too well and it seems silly when we describe it to the people making the noises.

I know some younger people who have it and they are much less patient than I am about it. I guess it's a teen thing? I'm glad mine developed in my twenties when I was a little more polite in my reactions.

I feel the same sympathy for my wife, although not in the moment. As you said, she's just trying to live her life. I do make concerted efforts to persuade her to live her life with fewer individually plastic wrapped items she wants to munch on in the mornings. I'm losing that battle.

It's really interesting when you admit you have something like this how many other people you meet who also do. Good luck with all that, LV. Let me know if you find a miracle workaround!
