I think there's a childish awe we have for our parents and grandparents that contributed to it. He did have an old west feel to him when I was growing up convinced I would one day be a cowboy.

However, it was the way he wove stories that I loved. If there were anything great about him, it was the way he shared his memories. I plan on writing another 3-5 parts of this story from the memories he told me about over the years.
