Luba! Good to see you and don't ever apologize for commenting at length. I do it often, sans apology.

True, the vax isn't a guarantee, although I did point out to the Mrs. that her family didn't get vaxed, but they all got Covid, whereas my family went for the vaccine and no one has been sick. That went over about as well as one might expect.

Romania has a bit of an issue right now as superstition, religion, and a latent mistrust of the government has made this country one of, if not the, lowest vaccinated countries in the EU. And it's little surprise we were on the front page of the NYT's yesterday with the highest per capita death in Europe due to Covid.

Agree, there's a financial incentive for pushing for the vax, as with all things medical. My 401K is full of medical companies because they make so much money.

I haven't pressed the Mrs. to get vaccinated. As of now, she cannot enter shops and her ability to travel is limited. As a result, I am headed back to the States for the holidays without her. Maybe the distance will do us some good, maybe.
