Some people recover fine. I've had three people close to me die this year due to Covid. While all were in their 50-60's, none had health issues beyond being slightly overweight. My dad is dealing with long-term Covid and has been ill for 8 months. Some people bounce back from it and some don't.

Right now in Romania, due to the nefarious advice coming from religious leaders, influencers, and just the superstitious nature of the country, we lag only Bulgaria in terms of vaccinations at about 44%. Per capita, our death rate due to Covid is 17X that of Germany and 7X the US. Our local hospitals are overrun once again and we once again have 10 pm curfews and masks are to be worn at all times in public. Just a few weeks ago, we had a our deadliest week since the pandemic began. We are going backward.

This is what I mean — I see little room for agreement. Both sides accuse the other of living in fear.
