Thanks — yes there are quite a few people like us. I love kids as well and the way I fawn over our dog causes people to really question me sometimes. I’m sure I would fawn over our children the same way but it’s not something we want right now and I don’t think our lifestyles are very accomodating for kids.

I’ve never seen Friday Night Lights but the sentiment of wanting to want it makes sense. I always heard good things about the show.

The people on the plane were cool. I did tell them several times it was unnecessary but it made them feel better and so that’s what we did. Nice people.

I know what you mean about the current environment, @calabamian, we have similar worries. I worry about my niece and nephews, although my sister seems okay with everything right now. Still, I worry.
