Yeah, I started writing professionally a year ago and it's been a way to land new clients. I suppose 'discount' isn't entirely correct because what I'm really talking about is having lower rates.

Red wine — heh, this is a wine-growing region. You can buy a table wine for €2 but if you want something award-winning with a bigger finish you're going to need to spend €10-12. If you spend 20, then whoa!

I vary it client to client, but if I sense someone else is coming in at €25/ hour, I can easily do 10-15 and still make enough to pay rent, buy groceries, and take a nice holiday.

Benefits of cheaper places, but there's also downsides.
