You lot have had it so much rougher than many of us. Romania has behaved very inconsistently and little has changed for me except being required to wear a mask on the street, unless you're smoking, drinking, or eating, which cracks me up.
My folks back home in Texas have been in and out of light lockdowns, but their part of the world is very anti-gov so they've been hitting karaoke bars and Mexican restaurants with surprising regularity.
I'm happy you are feeling safer. I can relate to your description of odd waves of emotion hitting you. I haven't been jabbed yet, but for the past year I've also felt weird waves wash over me. I guess it's affected me more than I thought.
